The Acoustic Music Company is run by me, Olivia Dunn, a professional musician myself. I understand the importance of high quality, memorable music at weddings. All musicians I work with are professional and reliable, and highly experienced in all areas of wedding entertainment.

Whether you need music for the bridal entrance, the wedding service, signing of the register, the reception or the evening do, I can help!

Traditional folk music is now a really popular alternative to the more formal string quartet and the exquisite musicians I work with create a beautiful atmosphere with their talent and repertoire.

The versatility of both traditional and classical music is that it can be played acoustically, that is with no PA, indoors or outdoors. No soundcheck is needed. If you decide at the last minute to move where they are playing, the musicians can move swiftly and easily. Background unamplified music means guests can mingle and chat without having to shout above the music. But they won't be able to help tapping their feet if you choose traditional music!

If you'd prefer something more raucous I can help there too. Folk bands, ceilidhs, covers, soul, jazz, blues... you name it I can find it!

I carry out an in-depth consultation with you to establish exactly what music you need and select the perfect musical ensemble to suit your requirements, even down to a particular song or tune you'd like your band to learn.
