Jacqueline Byrne Couture Wedding Dresses

Jacqueline came to my rescue when I needed a dress made at relatively short notice and I couldn't be happier with the result. Jacqueline did a brilliant job of interpreting my somewhat vague wishes and ideas & she created a dress that I couldn't be more in love with and I'm only sorry I only got to wear it once! The process working with Jacqueline from beginning to end was an absolute pleasure, her service is very personalised and I really looked forward to my fittings. The quality of Jacqueline's work and the materials she uses is second to none, the way she cuts and drapes fabric is masterful and her use of lace and beading is exquisite. I can't recommend Jacqueline highly enough for her ability to create the dress of your dreams & to deliver a very warm personal experience.

I was really surprised to see a negative review about Jacqueline Byrne. Jacqueline made my bespoke dress this summer and did an amazing job - and the dress was wonderful, just what i wanted and at a reasonable price for a one off bespoke dress in amazing material and a perfect fit. In my opinion the best bespoke wedding dress maker in London and I met many in my search for the right person! A creative and talented designer!

My wedding day was the best day of my life. I know everyone says that, but I was sort of expecting it not to be quite such total fun! And one of the best parts of it was that everyone without fail told me that the dress was literally the most beautiful dress that they'd ever seen in real life. I know that most brides probably have those sorts of comments, but everyone seemed very sincere! The dress was a big part of why the day was so perfect. Looking back over the photographs, it reminds me how clever Jacqueline was to make it stunning from literally every angle. I went to Jacqueline with a couple of ideas and inspiration points, and she turned those ideas into the most beautiful dress I have ever seen, let alone had the privilege to wear. The whole process, from the initial chats all the way through to the fittings and discussions over materials was one of the most enjoyable parts of the whole wedding process, and it was a huge honour to have worn such a special dress on that day. Husband said that it was far far more incredible than he was expecting it to be. And wants to know if I can wear it again sometime...I've told him that he needs to up his game when inviting me to extremely smart events, and obviously the Oscars... I can’t recommend Jacqueline highly enough to any prospective bride, and I genuinely genuinely cannot understand why anyone would want to get their dress anywhere else!

I had been to see some the other couture wedding dress designers but Jacqueline was the only person who made me feel at ease and truly excited about the prospect of her designing my dress. Unfortunately, my mum was suffering with cancer and after my first fitting we found out that she only had weeks to live. As a result, the wedding which was planned for September had to be brought forward to May. I asked Jacqueline if she thought she could make my dress (which was based on the classic Grace Kelly design) in a matter of weeks that we had ahead of the wedding. She immediately agreed and was amazing during this time - supporting me emotionally during my fittings, ensuring I remained excited about the day during a very emotional time and also always keeping my Mum happy and involved. She worked through the night to make sure the dress would be ready and finally when it was unveiled to my mum at my final fitting she made that moment truly special - the dress looked so stunning and made me feel so beautiful - I just couldn’t believe what she had done in such a short space of time. I will never forget that moment and how happy she made us both - my mum said seeing me in the dress made all of her dreams come true. I think of Jacqueline as not just as a wedding dress designer but a friend (as I know so many of her other brides do) - she made what seemed impossible, possible and for that I will always be so grateful to her. It was also a happy moment in April 2011 - when Kate Middleton walked down the aisle in almost a replica of my own dress - Jacqueline was ahead of her time!! xxxx

Writing a review for Jacqueline has become more complicated than I thought! There are some many things I would like say but words seem to make no justice to what I feel. I met Jacqueline after having had a bad experience buying a wedding dress that was basically unwearable, only weeks before my wedding!! Jacqueline, not only comforted me and told me everything would be alright, she made me the most beautiful dress I have ever seen, working incredible hours to have it ready on time. I consider Jacqueline an artist who can envisage your dream and make it true! The materials, the fit, the design, everything was a dream and Jacqueline makes sure you feel comfortable at all times in the dress and will definitely work around the clock. It was definitely such an exciting time and I looked so forward to the fittings. I have been recommending Jacqueline's gowns since I met her and will do forever! I feel very fortunate to have had a wedding dress made by Jacqueline. Even now, months after my wedding, people are still commenting on how beautiful and how perfect for the occasion the dress was. I really could not recommend her enough!!
