Set in the heart of Sussex, nestling against the South Downs, are the 70 acres of lush greenery that envelop Laughton Barns. There are four picturesque ponds for the all-important photos, and not a telegraph pole, overhead wire or mobile phone mast in sight.

There are 3 very different barns to choose from, and each has spectacular views over the downs. This is a beautiful marquee venue, and the marquee attaches to one of the barns. They are both licensed for civil ceremonies so that you can have the ceremony at one barn, then stroll through the green fields to the champagne reception waiting for you at the other
barn.

We can accommodate up to 250 guests for a sit-down meal and up to 400 for a drinks reception. Working with your event organiser, it's up to you which elements of the grounds you choose to use as the backdrop to your event. If you are looking for a romantic but rural, marquee wedding, then we would highly recommend viewing this venue.No amplified band music allowed at this venue.

New for 2011

We can now offer a new barn for 2011.The barn offers seating for up to 300 guests, and it has been traditionally built using local Oak, brick and stone, to provide a rustic venue for your civil ceremony and wedding reception. The Traditional Sussex style barn also offers the unusual aspect that one side can be completely open, with fantastic views across the downs.
